Big Idea Project
How did you decide on your Big Idea?
Ummm I just recently went snowboarding and i was way too pumped not to do adrenaline. Changed my view on mountains, even though ohio doesnt have any. heheh
How did you decide on a way to show that Big Idea through video?
Well dubstep music always displays adrenaline or hyped up videos real well and i liked this song that had a mario/superhero feel to it.
What video concepts did you decide not to do? Why?
Well i thought about doing a lot more extreme sport shots and going on a big dirt mound but i waited to long and working a lot so i kept it with the rollerblading, skateboarding, and biking, and i think it was a good choice.

Do you feel you effectively talked about your Big Idea with your video? Why or why not?
I think i couldve done a way better job, i also did not know how to end it so it was really messed up.
What was the best part of this process (brainstorming, writing, planning, shooting, editing, etc?) Why was it the best for you? Editing because it was fun to match music with actions. Filming was horrible because that day something terrible almost happened so i had no motivation.
What was the best part of choosing your own Big Idea as opposed to me setting one for you? The worst part? Best part was i really wanted to do adrenaline, after i figured it out. It took a long time, like 3 days before i even got the idea.
Propose one additional Big Idea video idea that you could accomplish by March 14. I want very specific details: what, who, why, how, when, where.
Well i thought the music editing to the idea of adrenaline was too easy, i would like to focus more on the plot and story telling process.

Martin Elmore Intervention
- In your own words, what is intervention?
Intervention is to brighten someone random in the publics day. By doing something unusual or creatively not normal to society Break the norm.
- What was the purpose of this exercise?
The purpose was to see if we could brighten peoples day and what we could do to society to make it just a little better.
- Why did you choose to intervene the way you did? I’m looking for more than “I thought it would be funny” or “no one would expect it.” What social/personal/human issue did you intend to comment on? Why? How?
Well my original plan went to hell. I wanted to make people laugh, if they didn't freak out and run. Which for some reason never hopped in my mind. I was more thinking of the people watching the video i suppose rather than the people in public. The idea i went with was a desperate move.

- Why did you choose the location? I’m looking for more thought than “lots of people would be there, so I went there.” How did the location play up your specific idea?
Well chuckie cheese would have a lot of funny kid reactions, as well as hilarious parent reaction, but the Joann fabrics was because it was right there across from chuckie cheese. We figured enough people would be there and we winged it.
- Name three specific examples, ideas, artworks or statements you observed in class that helped you plan for this project.
Your example, improve everywhere, impractical jokers.
The fighting was for the people. I really wanted everyone to be around and watch for at least a second. Even throw some change at us and make a couple bucks. I guess my hopes were set way to high for this. The lady yelled at us, which added to the video but i guess went in the opposite direction for the intervention. Also, our skills as gladiators are great and it is hard not to show that.
After the chuckie cheese incident i kindof gave up i guess. That was on my head the whole time and i was very disappointed. I had trunks, a rubber ducky, a towel, and suntan lotion. You know how hard it is to get suntan lotion this time of year, pretty easy. The bouncer really scared us also, plus we kindof looked like perverts. Well at least Justin did because of his stash. He was in a speedo, and he was just filming.
The bottom line is, i couldve done better, but i was stopped by the weather. And by weather i mean bouncer. He just looked like he couldve been a weatherman, so i dont know why he was a bouncer. He had black hair and a big chest. Like treasure chest, probably filled with tokens. But i guess we'll never know. Or will we!?

Foley
So i just made my own cause i couldn't find the one you sent. So i enjoyed this a lot but more because of how funny it was than making the sounds itself. The sounds fit but i do not think it was a fun process . Making the voice overs was. What i did was film my clip on my iphone and go home and watch it and try to match noses with it. I like how it came out besides the car glass breaking. I didn't have enough free glass to break. I had like one of the houses shot glasses and that wasn't big enough to make the noise i wanted. I overlapped the sound but it was still not the best. I loved the squeaky noises i made and how innocent i made the scene even though the kids are being attacked by a dinosaur. The dinosaur doesn't want to eat them, he just wants to play and tickle them.. They were expecting him too. Bert, oh Bert how u are a better parent then the man who doesn't try to help his own children getting attacked by a freaking dinosaur.
