 Criteria: Group Movie Project

Describe your role in the production of the class movie. How did your contribution make things more efficient? How did you help make the movie better? What specific contributions did you make? Did you go above and beyond, or simply show up? Be honest.
My role in the production of the movie was actor, boom mic, and audio guy. I worked the boom and audio by myself at the same time on the last day because no one else would. I Improved a lot when i had my scenes, which i thought was funny. I tried to act my best and i tried not to fool around too much, but its hard with such fun props. I think I tried a fair amount.

Describe one or more things you learned about the writing process that you did not know before working on this project.
Well I liked how we all threw in our ideas for the script and then mashed them all together. I didnt know we could all type at the same time on the same document, that was pretty cool.

Describe one or more things you learned about the production (filming) process that you did not know before working on this project.
I did not know at all how to work the boom mic or where to point it, I thought that was pretty fun. I learned how to work the audio and I did not let it hit 0. I learned about lighting and how many shots we should take in one scene. I learned how difficult the editing process is, especially if it was a full length movie.

Describe one or more things you learned about the post-production (editing, sound, etc.) process that you did not know before working on this project.
I learned a lot about the editing techniques of final cut, which i feel like every time I see Mr. Aumiller work final cut i see new stuff going on. I do not know however how he is going to insert the boom mics sound into the video later.

Are you satisfied with the final product? Why or why not? Be honest.
I am content with the final product, not every one was serious the whole time but we did get work done. It is not a garbage film but it is not a great one either. I could see an audience member getting confused while watching our film, but I can see them laughing as well. I liked the experience but some people in this room I never want to do a video with ever again... ha.. haha.. yea...

Suggest one improvement for next year’s class. What could I do to make it easier/better/more informative/more fun?
I think that everything you did was good, it is just the effort that the class wants to put in and how creative they are.
